Kanch Mandir is a famous “Jain” temple built by the Seth Hukumchand Jain in the 20th Century. This temple is built by the white stone. The interior of this temple is built by the glass panels including the floor, columns, walls and ceilings.

History of Kanch Mandir
The Kancha Mandir temple is made entirely of glass and mirrors. The Kanch Mandir is built by the prominent trader Sir Seth Hukumchand Jain in the 20th century (1903). It is a Digambar Jain temple and in the centre of this temple is Sri Shantinath Bhagwan and his right hand and Shri Chandraprabha Bhagwan and left and Adinath Bhagwan is established. The glass carving of the temple reflects more than 50 Jain religious stories. And the carvings on its walls have made scenes of Jainism stories and pilgrimage sites. The walls, ceilings, floors, pillars, doors, everything here is completely covered with glass. Kanch Mahal has always been the object of interest for almost all Hindu rulers of India. The temple is decorated with thousands of mirrors with ceramic tiles.
Architecture of Kanch Mandir
The Kanch Mandir, as the name suggests, this temple is made entirely of glass, its roof walls and the bottom floor are also studded with glass. It is a Digambar Jain temple and in the centre of this temple is Sri Shantinath Bhagwan and his right hand and Shri Chandraprabha Bhagwan and left and Adinath Bhagwan is established. The idol of Lord Shantinath is made of black stone, which was built in Jaipur. In which the whole work is made of glass and this glass was sourced from Belgium. And the pillar is of red stone, its door is made of wood and a silver layer has been placed on it. The work done in this temple is made on seeing the workmanship and glass carving here is done by the artisans of Iran and Jaipur. Due to the glass carving and workmanship done in this temple, the 3D effect comes here.

Kanch Mandir has more than 50 murals depicting Jain stories. He also portrays the conversion of Jainism, the persecution of sinners into the divine life, and 19th-century court life. Kanch Mahal is quite different from all other monuments in the country.

The Jain festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Kanch Mandir. On Sugandh Dashami, special mandals are made with multi-colored rice-powder. And some processions start or terminate at the Kanch Mandir. Annual rath-yatra on a golden palki is taken out from here.
