Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary is like a forest cultured placed where the wild animals are living. In other words “Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary” is a home for wild animals and different species of birds. It was established in 1989 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over 5 square kilometres. In this Sanctuary different-different species of birds and animals are living. The majority of wild animals are Leopard, Black Buck, Sambhar, Chitah, Blue Bull, Jarak, Bhedki(Barking Deer), Rabbit any many more.

Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary in the oldest sanctuary of Madhya Pradesh. This sanctuary establish is the year 1989. It is spread over 5 square kilometres. In this sanctuary, many species of birds and wild animals are lived such as Leopard, Black Buck, Sambhar, Citah, Jarak, Rabbit and many more. This sanctuary also has different types of trees. The Teak, Saja, Eucalyptus, Bamboo, Babul, Chandan etc are the among the flora are located here.

This sanctuary is famous for its many avifaunae and avian species, most of which migrate here during the winter season.

History About Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary

Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary is on the oldest sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh and it is established in the year 1989. The fauna and flora are located here. In this forest, a rest house is available for accommodation in Indore.

A hunting hut was built by the Holkar’s Empire in 1905 on the hill inside the sanctuary, which is now being developed as an information centre. The scenic beauty of the mountainous region and valleys in the sanctuary is remarkable and presents a terrific site for visitors.

Best Time to visit

This sanctuary opens all the days of the week from 9:00 AM To 6:30 PM. The required time to visit this place take minimum 4hrs. And the best time to visit this place is considered to be winter season or from the month of September to March month. During this time, the weather is pleasant more scenic.
